| The BD 17 Nugget Customer Assist Fast Build is being utilized by the builder who has spent four and a half days of actual hands-on time on the airplane . Much has been accomplished. The bonding of the fuselage is complete, it’s out of the jigs, the center spar is located, it is setting on its gear, the engine mount is attached, the turtledeck is installed, etc. Other small tasks have been completed, too. It should also be mentioned that the builder has very little experience working with metal hand tools and, of course, no experience with a comprehensive project suchas building an airplane. We are all more than satisfied with his progress. The photos give an idea of the ease and simplicty of the construction using the available fixtures. |
